Len Grayson

The Team Swift 100 on Saturday 18th August was abandoned following a tragic accident that resulted in the death of Len Grayson.

Len who was 75,  and competing in his own clubs promotion, was in collision with a motor vehicle on the A19 Thirsk bypass at around 17:00hrs whilst heading north on the third lap.

At the time of writing no further details are known. Cycling Time Trials and the event promoters send their condolencies to Len's family.

The Team Swift Charity 10's on the V718 on Sunday 26th August were originally inspired by Len's recovery from cancer, the events will now be run as a memorial to him.
